About PixelFree Tools
PixelFree Tools is a free set of browser utilities for people who need a file changed once: a photo under an email limit, a PNG that should be a JPG, a social crop, a HEIC an office cannot open, or a PDF that needs a page pulled out. There is no account and no project library.
What the site actually does
Most image tools run in the browser with the Canvas API. You pick a file, the page draws it locally, and the download is built on your device. That is why the image compressor, resizer, cropper, converter and color tools do not ask for a login. A few document and video jobs load an extra browser library so the work can still finish locally; those pages say so.
The catalog is grouped on purpose. Compression covers quality sliders and fixed caps such as 50KB, 100KB and 200KB. Resize covers exact pixels, percentage, and social presets for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn and Amazon. Convert covers JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC. PDF tools cover merge, split, rotate, page numbers and image-to-PDF.
Who it is for
The typical visitor is not a designer with a desktop suite open. It is someone on a phone or a work laptop who has one file and a constraint: a form that rejects anything over 200KB, a marketplace image with the wrong ratio, a screenshot that needs the edges cropped. The tools are written for that job, then they get out of the way.
What we do not do
PixelFree is not cloud storage, not a photo editor with layers, and not a place to keep client files. We do not offer print fulfillment, background removal as a paid API, or a team workspace. If a task needs a human editor or a legal review, this site is the wrong tool.
How the site stays up
The tools are free. The site may show Google AdSense on content pages, away from the control that runs the tool. Advertising does not change the output file and does not require an account. The publisher id and the ads.txt file identify the site to Google. Measurement, if enabled later, is described on the privacy page.
How to judge a result
Check the downloaded file, not the preview alone. File size, pixel dimensions and format are shown after a run. If a PNG with transparency is compressed with the quality slider, it is saved as JPG and transparent pixels become white, because a PNG quality slider cannot change byte size. For a logo that must stay sharp and transparent, use the PNG tools or export SVG from your design app instead.
