How file processing works

PixelFree includes image, video, PDF, document, QR-code and OCR tools. Many image operations, QR generation and supported PDF operations are designed to run directly in your browser. Some tools may load JavaScript or WebAssembly libraries from a content delivery network to perform processing on your device.

Capabilities differ by tool and browser. A tool page may state when a particular format requires additional processing support. We do not claim that every file type is processed in exactly the same way.

Files and personal information

PixelFree does not require an account to use its free tools. For browser-based tools, selected files are processed locally and are not intentionally uploaded to PixelFree servers. Do not submit confidential material to a tool unless you are comfortable with the processing information shown on that tool's page.

Analytics and advertising

We may use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage and Google AdSense to display advertising. These services may use cookies or similar technologies and may receive standard technical information such as browser, device and approximate location information according to their own policies and your consent choices where applicable.

What we do not do

• We do not require an account for the free tools.
• We do not sell personal data.
• We do not intentionally retain files processed entirely in the browser.
